Who I recommend this for (besides everyone):
1) People who are expecting to be in photos-- be it headshots, senior portraits, weddings-- this will open up your eyes.
2) People who like it looking natural. Not everyone likes a dark smokey, so this contour kit keeps you looking natural. But if you ever decide you need something a little more night time, all you have to do is pack on a little more of the dark matte brown and you're out the door.
3)Teens -- this kit is totally teen appropiate and makes a great gift for them.
But everyone needs a kit like this. Something for everyday. The sample of boing is perfect. It allows you to clean up any mistakes, blend, or to hide dark circles. A+ Kit.

Who do I recommend this kit for?
1)People who frequently dye their hair.
2)Makeup artists who need something small and compact to take care of anyone's brows.
3)Brow novices who are trying to get the swing of things.
This kit is the perfect sampler of Benefit Brow Fake-it Favorites. So here's the deal, it comes with both light and dark powder--mix for a medium. Mix with more light for lighter shades, add more dark for darker. Additionally it's got High Brow in a powder form which means you can use it under the brow, or for eyeshadow. In fact, with this high brow and the matte light and brown powders-- you have yourself a matte version of Big Beautiful Eyes.

This is my favorite product to put on customers. There isn't a person it doesn't go well on. I used it as a blush on light to fair skin often and it just gives a little life to a person. My favorite demo combo: Watts Up!, followed by a light layer of Get Even, and then Dallas as a blusher. Perfect!

Does the lash glue contain latex??? Have latex sensitivity or allergy and need to wear false eyelashes for a competition.

The product will burn anyone's eyes. Do not recommend for your sensitive eyes.

Is this product recommended for dark, African American skin tones?

I love the concept of this product but I am not sure if it will work with my complexion.
It will work for darker complexions, but the result will not be same. This is a contour kit, so the lit color and crease color mimick shades found on light to light-medium skin. The lid base color is much brighter than dark skin, so instead it will open up the eyes, and brighten the eye color.

Can I buy the base shadow from the big beautiful eyes palette separately? I love, love love the color and have ran out already!

I bought this palette a couple of months ago and love the base color. I would love to be able to buy it separately.
Unfortunately it is not sold separately. I'd recommend leggy, buns, or bo peep.

sponge for SKG?

I just received this set as a gift. I noticed in the directions, it mentions applying the Some Kinda Gorgeous with the "included sponge," but I don't see a sponge in my kit. Should there be one? Am I missing something? Thanks.
That is an error, the directions or Some Kinda Gorgeous in the Cabana Glama box were copied directly from the full size version of Some Kind Gorgeous. My first recommendation would be to buy a brush. It applies better and will last you years. But if you do like sponges fear not, drugstores will sell large packs of one time use sponges. I recommend this because reusing the same sponge over and over can be unsanitary and create make up build up.

What's up with Rush Hour?

I bought Posie Tint last Christmas, I quite liked it and decided to buy it, together with High Beam.
However, I'd llike to know whether Rush Hour has been discontinued. Is it so?
Yes, Rush Hour is discontinued. I would really like to see Benefit release cream blushes and stains though.

Which to choose and how to use? High beam, watts up,one hot minute or girl meets pearl?

hi, out of craziness, I got all of the above before I even know how to use them!!
I'm have fair Asian combi skin, but recently tend to be drier than oily which I used to be...
Can anyone tell me which is better and how to really apply them?
As I have benetint, that gal and dandelion too which I'm currently using! Am totally lost! Please help!
Hey Divine,
Watts Up, and High Beam have similar uses. They should be placed in places you wish to highlight such as the cheekbone or under the brow or down your nose. The colors are obviously different, as are the textures. Watts Up is a cream, and high beam is a liquid. Both would be fine on your skin it's just a matter of what shade you'd like.

One Hot Minute is a finishing powder and bronzer. After completing your face just powder your face with it to set the make up and allow for a slight bronzy glow.

Girl Meets Pearl is commonly used as a highlighter like Watts up and High beam, but it's original purpose is for an all over glow. Before blush or highlighter i like to dab it all over my face with a blush brush. Other ways i've seen people use it:
-Mixing it with That Gal for an even all over glow.
-Mixing it with liquid foundation to brighten up a dull face.
-Dabbing it on their decolletage for beautiful skin

What shade zing should I try for fair skin and salt n' pepper hair?

I went grey rather young(late 30's). My natural hair color is nearly black, now it's about 50/50. My eyebrows are barely visible. What shade should I go with? Thx!
Honestly, I would fill in with the deep brow pencil instead. It's a soft dark grey.

If you are set on using a wax and powder, I'd go with light. It's a fawn color that will deepen the hair color without it looking too unnatural.

Is this drying?

Sometimes powders like this dry out my skin. Anyone with dry skin have experience with this product?
I have eczema and I have never had a problem with it. Generally thicker powders-- like mineral powders-- can have a drying effect. These blushes are extremely light weight. If you are concerned, a little of That Gal or Triple Performing moisturize underneath will help a great deal.

As always, I encourage you to go to benefit, try it on and wear it for a day.

is it good for dry skin

Hi i am wondering if this foundation is good for dry skin because i just got this foundation two days ago i think it works pretty good because i got it tried on by person that works there but i just wanted to hear other opinions from people that have tried this product
Some Kind-a Gorgeous should not be paired alone. Start by using Triple Performing moisturizer. This really should be done when using any make up. It will prepare your skin from make up, and also protect your skin from the sun. It's light so it sits well under or over make up. For dry skin, I recommend that That Gal be put on next. It's the most moisturizing of primers and will also bring out the pigments of the foundation. After that's done, your skin is ready for Some Kind-a Gorgeous.

dr. feel good or bo-ing

i have combination [oily & sensitive] skin, and i want to hide my enlarged pores on my cheeks. Also my skin tone is not even. So my question is: shall I get the complexion balm? or the concealer?
thanks!
Enlarged pores and oily skin tend to go hand in hand. I'd start with this to matte your skin and reduce oil. Then blot your skin with some porefessional. Finish off by evening out your skin with Some Kind-A Gorgeous. Now your skin should look less oily, but you probably feel like you're messing something. Take a powder brush and dab your skin with girl meets pearl. Viola-- you're all set!
