Secret weapon for fair skin beauties

After reading other reviews and knowing that I should either try and get a tan before my sister's wedding (I am verrry pale and I do not like to tan) and not wanting to be orange with fake tan products I decided that this should be perfect. And that's what it was, perfect. Instead of looking ghostly white, my legs looked great, with a nice glow to them. It's not shiny or oily looking at all and the scent isn't too strong either which were both things I was worried about. I would say it has about the same amount of shimmer and glow to it as the Sugarbomb box of powder. Now this will be my secret weapon for weddings and when I want to feel sexy, it is boyfriend approved including the scent.
Loved that it's glow, Smooth, light scent, unique scent, sexy

Overall, this is a very nice product. Even though it's grouped with Benetint, it is a completely different texture and consistency and does not last even half as long as Benetint. This is much thicker and it looks neon pink before you apply it. I found at first that it just made my lips look terrible, really accentuated them in the wrong way, making my lips look even more chapped. But, as I've begun to start exfoliating my lips drinking more water, I've come to like this a bit more. No longer are my lips looking chapped, but they are still VERY pink when I use this. Which, if you like pink lips is awesome, but I'm more of a red lip type of gal. This is fun to use every once in a while in my opinion and I'm glad I got a sample size one a while ago instead of purchasing a full. Definitely give this one a shot, I think everyone will feel differently about this product. But don't forget your chapstick or gloss after you apply, this is quite drying.
Loved that it's very pink, drying, thick, fun

That Gal is a product I don't use all of the time, I actually only use it when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed so to speak. Why? Well, it looks great on it's own, and so when I'm in a rush it's quick. Another great reason is the smell is irresistible! It smells a bit like strawberries and cream. It smooths my pores a bit and just lightens up my face. I can't help but feel a bit better on those wrong side of the bed mornings after using that That Gal!
Loved that it's lovely scent, Smooth, brightening

To be honest, the only reason I don't wear this anymore is because of the scent. My boyfriend thought the patchouli was too much. But, it does work really well. It mattifies and smooths. And I love the way my skin felt when I used it. It lasted a long time, both in terms of wearing it and how long the product itself lasted in the container. My skin felt and looked so smooth! I had a lot of trouble with acne and redness when I was a teenager and that's why the Benefit ladies recommended this product to me at the time, and I'm happy to report it never made me break out. So, if you can handle or rather like the scent, go for it, you will love it!

It's Potent = Eyecon

I used Eyecon for years, 8 years to be exact. As you can guess, I really loved that product, it's what made me fall in love with Benefit in the first place. So when I ran out, and it was no longer carried, I was a bit skeptical. I tried a couple different eye creams from competitors again, but again they felt too greasy or sticky.
When I finally caved and tried It's Potent (I was being stubborn, and I was a bit sad that they replaced my old standby), I honestly couldn't tell the difference between it and it's predecessor, which was a good thing! It's Potent is creamy, isn't greasy, doesn't stick, non-irritating, hydrating and has a very pleasant scent. I've been using it for the past 2 months and haven't put a dent in the little pot. I'm happy with Eyecon's replacement, nothing matches Benefit's eye creams.
Loved that it's creamy, light, Effective, hydrating, luxurious

I have fair skin but very naturally red cheeks. Because of that, I feel that Hervana just makes my cheeks blend in with the rest of my face. I love the idea of it, but I guess it's not as dramatic as I would like it to be. I've tried wearing it a few times now, and I'm not very excited about it. I'll give it a couple more goes, and then I will try to find it a good home,
I guess I'll just have to stick with Sugarbomb, which I absolutely adore.

Samba-dy Loves Me - That'd be Benefit

I've always been a fan of cream shadows, and so I've tried many other brands over the years. The price tag on these had always put me off, but one day I decided to just go for it and bought this in Samba-dy Loves Me. This shade is perfect for work alone or a night out if you add some dramatic black cat eyes and black mascara.
It really does stay put, I don't even use a primer when I wear mine. You do have to wait in between layers though, otherwise you'll get some creasing. I apply mine with my clean fingertips which has always worked best for me.
I've worn this shadow pretty much every day for two months and haven't made a dent in the pot at all! I would really love if they came out with a mini set so I could try more shades. I am really happy with this product, and my color choice for my first one. As a reference, I have hazel/green eyes and Samba-dy Loves Me really compliments them.
Loved that it's shimmery, buildable, creamy, creaseless, blendable, Long Lasting

I think the best way to wear this lip gloss is over a lip primer (I just make sure I put on chap stick or balm before the gloss) since it tends to dry out my lips on its own. The thing I like about these glosses over the shines is that my lips don't look wet, or fake. But they do pack a bunch of shimmer!
I have 7 colors now (mostly thanks to the All You Need is Gloss kit) and I can confirm that each color does look different on my lips, they pack a lot of pigment without looking like I'm wearing lipstick. My favorite colors are:
Who Are You Wearing? - Neutral enough for work
I'm With the Band - Very similar to Who Are You Wearing, but with more gold to it
Fresh Squeezed - Darker than the first two I mentioned, just picked it up, but I think it'll be my go to gloss.
I've found Life on the A List to be a bit too light for my taste, but over benetint, it's this lovely rosy color. And Almost Famous is too brown for me, and I don't like my lips to look purple or gold, so Zone Out and Kiss You miss my list.
The glosses themselves aren't sticky, and last a while (for gloss that is). Though they will emphasize chapped lips - but what doesn't? So make sure you exfoliate and moisturize your lips too! Oh and did I mention they have a lovely, light smell?
Loved that it's not sticky, very pigmented, shimmery, fragrant

I have 6 colors total of the lust dusters, three back from when they were called "eye powder" - yes 3 of them have lasted me many, many years (try 6!). So do I really need to say a little goes a long way?
I love that they're a loose shadow, and VERY shimmery! I apply them with my fingertip since they're loose, otherwise it can get messy. The color and shimmer is very buildable, I love to put them on top of other matte shadows to make my eyes sparkle. They're perfect for highlighting your brow arch too. (Jelly roll is perfect for this, sort of mimics eye bright or high brow)
So I guess my only complaint about this product is that they're messy if you're in a rush. Otherwise, they're very worth it! Benefit - please don't discontinue these!
Loved that it's shimmery, layerable, buildable, great value, highlighting

Quick and easy pick me up for your eyes

I got eye bright as a present this Christmas, since then I've used it at least 2-3 times a week (some days I just don't wear eye make up) and I love the creamy texture, it's nothing like I would've imagined a pencil to be. I use this how I used to use my pink eyeshadow -- I put it on first before my eyeshadows, in the corner of my eyes and then line my eyes out from there about a third of the way then blend a bit with my fingertip. I've only noticed it clump or look cakey when I've forgotten to get some "sleep" out my eyes. This is a nice alternative to eyeshadow for brightening since the eyeshadow tended to get on my lashes a bit.
I'm glad that I ended up getting eye bright, and I'd recommend it to anyone out there looking to brighten up their eyes. I also saw a great tutorial for using this for dark circles, which I don't have a problem with most of the time since I use eyecon, but I'm intrigued to try it out. All in all a great value!
Loved that it's brightening, creamy, highlighter, great value

Lydia's Questions

Samba-dy loves me

So, I'm sad to see Samby-dy loves me didn't make the cut, and was actually discontinued over the summer. Which of the new colors would be closest to that one? I feel like every color I fall in love with gets discontinued :(

For those who used Eyecon and It's Potent! what are your thoughts?

I've used Eyecon for years, and have been nothing but happy with it. It was great for my sensitive skin, the scent wasn't overbearing and the texture was to die for. I'm hesitant about switching after I run out of Eyecon, and I wanted to get someone's opinion who has used both, and used Eyecon on a regular basis. Thank you!

How long can 1 jar of this last for?

For me, one jar lasts about 8 months. I use it in the morning, and sometimes at night when I'm feeling dry. I would not go without it, it's worth the price for me!

Is it a powder or creamy?!

It's texture is a lot like lip balm. Thicker than That Gal if you've used that, but not as thick as Dr. Feelgood. Definitely moisturize with lotion first though!

highlighter

Since this body balm has a bit of pinky shimmer, can this be also used as a highlighter (in face) ?
I wouldn't use this on my face, I think it would be too thick. But then again, I have very sensitive skin. I would just stick to High Beam or That Gal if you're looking for a pink glow.

Does it help with blue circles?

My "circles" are blue due to thin skin, so you can see the blood vessels. Does It's Potent help with this? Also how strong is the smell? I am very sensitive to scents in cream.
I don't feel that It's Potent acts like a concealer, but it does hydrate the skin which will improve the appearance overtime. It's the perfect base for a little concealer or powder if you need coverage.

The smell is very light, I'm very sensitive to scents in creams as well, and I haven't had any problems with it. It's also good for sensitive skin.

I would go into a store that sells it and see if they can give you a sample. It's worth a try, and it is definitely my favorite eye cream that's out there.

I have been wearing RSVP & I LOVE the color, unfortunately it does crease on me. Can it be used on top of an eye primer for maybe a longer wear?

I've had luck with putting a matching eyeshadow over top of it, or if I keep my eyes closed until it sets up a bit, I don't have as much trouble with creasing. Also, if I wear it over eye bright, it will stay there all day long. I don't wear primer, but I know many who do don't have any problems with creasing.
